About Paul Weich

Paul Weich and his family have lived in Ahwatukee for more than 30 years, and Paul has worked in Tempe for the past 14 years. Paul has practiced law since 1991, focusing on business and creditors' rights. He also has practiced election law. Paul has a long history of publishing articles in Arizona's Law and Arizona's Politics, news blogs he founded and co-founded in 2019 and 2010 respectively.

His legal and journalistic careers reflect Paul’s passion for getting and presenting the facts, as well as learning all sides of the story (or the issue, or the bill).

These passions led to this campaign. “I decided to run not despite the current political climate but because of it. We need more people with a passion for facts and for fixing the system, rather than fewer.” He has the skill set and experience to protect our democracy and our voting rights.

Paul has been actively involved in the community and has served on several boards. He and Marion married in 1990 and have two grown daughters, Aaryn and Leah, and two grown pups, Chase and Garth. Both his daughters attended schools in the Kyrene Elementary School District and Tempe Union High School District. He is committed to ensuring Arizona has a strong public education and supporting our teachers.

Paul grew up in Tucson and went to college in California. He was a news reporter/host at KNST and KUAT in Tucson for several years before attending ASU College of Law. Marion, his wife, has taught in the Nogales Unified School district, Tolleson Union High School District and the Tempe Union High School District.
